The Fourth Street Bikeway Project:
Community & Collaboration in Design

My MFA thesis project was an exploration of collaborative community-based design. Working with members of the Los Angeles cycling community I completed a speculative redesign of the signage system for one LA bike route. The final system communicated vital route information and provided a set of tools that allowed cyclists to add to the project by creating their own signs.
